Saturday 21st May - Main Band MD retirement do
This special day was held at St Michael's and All Angels Church, Beckenham to mark the end of an era, with Mike Gray stepping down as our stalwart MD of the Main Band for the last 35 years. Many past players were able to attend (coming from all corners of the UK !) and others provided farewell messages.
We offer our sincere thanks to Danny Wakefield for stepping in as our Interim MD whilst we get the wheels in motion to find a permanent replacement for Mike.
A full gallery of images will be posted here in due course - here's one for now !

Sunday 20th March - Competition - 3rd Section Regionals @ Stevenage
The Main Band returned to competition for the first time since the Butlin's MineWorkers Contest at Skegness in January 2020 and achieved a very respectable 5th out of 17 bands playing Gordon Langford's "Facets of Glass".
The photos below were taken
just after we played and marked the last "gig" of our long serving MD Mike Gray, who has retired as our regular MD after 35 years sterling service to the band.
