Rehearsals
Current rehearsal arrangements
Our main rehearsal night for all groups is currently on a Wednesday evening with the following timings :
New players wishing to join us should view our vacancies page for awareness of current specific gaps.
Please contact the Membership Secretary in advance of attending any of the groups for the first time (via the email detailed on our Contact page).
Our rehearsals are currently based at Venue28 (location details below) :

Experienced players are normally welcome to join the Main Band for a 'blow' - again please contact the Membership Secretary in advance, as rehearsal requirements occasionally vary (usually as we're approaching a contest or a major concert).
The Progress Band operates an 'Open Door' policy where all brass players are welcome who are between Grade 3 and Grade 7 standard.
Please note that normal rehearsals (Pre-Covid) were based at the Crystal Palace Museum (details below):
(We hope to return there in the not too distant future - once ongoing Covid-19 restrictions regarding adequate ventilation are resolved)

- 18:00 to 18:30 - 6 O'clock Brass (currently suspended - resumption date still pending)
- 18:30 to 19:55 - The Progress Band
- 20:05 to 22:00 - The Main Band
